AlphaProfit Newsletter: December Indicator Update and Repositioning Schedule
December 1, 2006

Dear Valued Subscriber,

The AlphaProfit™ model portfolio returns as of November 30, 2006 are as follows:

  Nov. 2006 2H 2006 1 Year 3 Year Sep. 2003 Inception
AlphaProfit Focus™ Model Portfolio 7.9%   8.2% 17.5% 92.1% 114.6%
AlphaProfit Core™ Model Portfolio 3.3%   9.5% 16.5% 57.4%   71.4%
DJ Wilshire 5000® Total Market Index 2.3% 10.7% 14.7% 43.4%   54.2%

Robust merger & acquisition activity helped the broad market extend its recent gains with the Dow Jones Wilshire 5000 Total Market Index advancing for a fourth consecutive month. 'Favored Buy' rated Fidelity Select Gold (FASGX) and Fidelity Select Materials (FSDPX) outperformed the broad market with gains of 11.6% and 4.3%, respectively and enabled both AlphaProfit model portfolios to outperform the broad market.

The rally in gold mining shares was supported by a rise in the price of gold which moved up nearly 7% as a slumping greenback raised inflation fears. Meanwhile, M&A activity was a key driver in uplifting sentiment towards shares in the materials sector as copper producer Phelps Dodge received a $26 billion buyout offer from Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold.

We remain constructive on the prospects for FSAGX and FSDPX and retain them in both model portfolios. The recent rally in these funds makes them as attractive as the other funds included in the model portfolios. Accordingly, we are removing the 'Favored Buy' rating on both FSAGX and FSDPX. None of the Fidelity Select funds included in the model portfolios is rated 'Favored Buy' at the present time.

The model portfolio compositions as of November 30, 2006 are provided in the Subscriber Login area of the web site.

Concerns on sustainability of economic expansion and robustness of earnings growth in 2007 may weigh on the performance of the stock market in December. The equity market may also get jittery if oil prices firm up ahead of the OPEC meeting on December 14.

Considering these factors in conjunction with the 0.75% short-term redemption fee charged by Fidelity Investments on Select fund investments held less than 30 days, we are now assigning a 'Wait' reading to the AlphaProfit Sector Portfolio Indicator. As such, Subscribers starting out or seeking to add to existing positions may choose to defer until the model portfolios are repositioned at the end of the year.

Factors driving model portfolio performance and investment outlook will be discussed in the next issue of the AlphaProfit Report published on December 12th.

The model portfolios will be repositioned after the markets close on December 29. To help you closely track the model portfolios, we will publish the Repositioning Alert Preview by 12:00 p.m. Central Time on Friday, December 29 in the Subscriber Login area. We will follow this with the Repositioning Alert Confirmation by 11:00 a.m. Central Time on Sunday, December 31. The Repositioning Alert Preview and Confirmation documents will be e-mailed to you when they are published on the web site.

We welcome your comments.

Best regards,
Sam Subramanian
